Download times:     Broadband users ~ 10 seconds;     Dial-Up users ~ 15 minutes (sorry).

Buggie Race

Spring Carnival

Campus Scenes

Tech Football

These "Videos" are actually clips extracted from a DVD made from 8mm film dated about 1956 to 1958. The download time is less than 10 seconds for broad band users. Unfortunately, dial-up users will experience download times of 15 minutes or longer which is prohibitively long for most people.

Hopefully, you can just click and play. If you have trouble, here are some tips.

(1) Internet Explorer users: If the video plays in a tiny window in the bottom left corner, you may enlarge it by a) clicking the small "button" in the right corner of that window or b) clicking the video name in the left corner and choosing "Play in Default Player".

(2) The file format chosen is for the Windows Media Player since this program is bundled with many home computers. They work fine with other programs such as Real Player. The easiest way to run these videos, if they don't run automatically for you is to paste their URL into your player. Here are some tips.

Windows Media Player: Copy one of the URLs shown below, Open the player, Under "File" choose "Open URL", Paste the URL you just copied into the dialog box and Click "OK".

Real Player: Copy one of the URLs shown below, Open the player, Under "File" choose "Open", Paste the URL you just copied (including the 'http://') into the dialog box and Click "OK".
