LCHS Scholarship

The program is coordinated by our LCHS members who personally contact the area high schools guidance counselors in March with information about the scholarship program.

Applicants are asked to provide a copy of their school records, have a recommendation letter submitted from their guidance counselor and complete an application with a paragraph as to why they would like to be considered for the scholarship.

The scholarship is open to graduating seniors going on to study herbal related fields such as horticultural, research in herbal and alternative medicines, and culinary arts.

The herb society holds two garden festival events at Inlet Culinary Gardens; one in October for fall planting and April for Spring planting. A portion of the proceeds from each of the two day events goes towards supplementing the scholarship fund.
